Jack Good tops the UK Golf Croquet Rankings
The ‘Boy from Bolton’ strikes again, winning the First Eight Golf Croquet Championship.
The masters of Golf Croquet have competed this weekend in the seaside town of Budleigh Salterton. The winner of the event was Jack Good, who steered his way expertly into the knockout stages, then into the final against the current U21 World Champion, Aston Wade.
Stephen Mulliner, previous World Champion and England team player commented “This one is definitely one to watch”,
Jack has shown excellent performance this season and has now ranked UK #1. Jack started playing at the age of 11 and is a member of Bowdon Croquet Club. He has already competed in World Championships and won an impressive 15 tournament titles in the past year.
We look forward to watching Jack’s progress in the Chairman’s Salver, to be contested in Ramsgate between 5-8 September 2024.
Jack received a hero’s welcome on his return to his home club Bowdon Croquet Club.
