Description
Ultra Croquet Hoops are made from 304 stainless steel with a natural width between the 16mm (0.63”) wires of 93.3mm (3.67”) giving a clearance of 1.2mm (just under 1/16”).
The hoop has 40mm (1.57”) wide carrots tapering down over their 240mm (9.45”) length.
Being stainless steel there is no paint to chip off, no sandblasting and repainting required. The hoops are identifiable by the coloured tape on the crown, red, white, or blue.
With longer carrots than many standard hoops, they should hold in the ground better making it harder to run with inaccurate shots.
The Ultra Championship Hoops have been approved by Croquet England and can be found listed on the Hoop Specification and Approvals page on the official Croquet England website.
