Description
A junior size croquet set with two different sized traditional-style mallets, (to suit players of various heights), made from English Ash with brass protective bands to protect the heads, durable steel hoops and hard-wearing composite balls. Corner flag poles are also made from metal to ensure longevity.
The same exceptional quality as our Executive set with lighter weight balls and shorter mallets to enable the children to enjoy their own game of croquet.
Recommended for ages 7-15
The 4 player set includes:
4 x English ash mallets in two sizes, all with brass protective rings and octagonal English ash handles:
2 x 76cm (30”) mallets with 24cm x 8cm (9.5” x 3”) English ash head , weight approx 1lb 12oz
2 x 86cm (34”) mallets with 23cm x 8cm (9” x 3”) English ash head, weight approx 2lb 11oz
4 x 12oz composite balls that are 9cm (3 5/8”) in diameter
6 x steel hoops that are 11mm in diameter and 43cm (17 1/2″) high/10cm (4″) wide. Dipped to 13cm (5.5″) to leave regulation 30cm (12″) above ground
1 x hoop ‘smasher’ mallet with rubber head to protect the hoops
4 x corner flags with metal poles
1 x hardwood centre peg with topper that is 56cm (22″) high/3cm (1 1/2″) in diameter
