Description
George Wood wooden centre peg for croquet
Turned from hardwood and painted with enamel, they measure 21 1/2″ overall and the regulation 1 1/2″ in diameter. With a removable black plastic pin for the clips so that the peg may be easily knocked into the court with out causing damage.
The four colour peg shows the four primary colours in sequence for golf and garden croquet – blue/red/black and yellow.
The six colour shows blue/red/black/yellow/green and white and the eight colour peg shows blue/red/black/yellow/green/pink/brown and white.
Please note that the new 8 colour pegs have a removable steel pin so that the peg can be easily placed in a lawn without creating a large hole.

Providing a nice bright centre peg with a screw-in steel spike seems a good innovation (at least for GC – I wonder how well it would withstand firm AC peg-outs?). Though it would be better if the picture on the CA Shop webpage were updated to show this new feature.
